The Wisdom and Worthiness of Messy Resilience

What would it take for your deepest wounds and ingrained survival patterns - your inner "mess" -  to show up at a meeting, on a date, or in your parenting? How much sorrow or chaos could you bear before the other parts of you start to fade or shrink? Delena will share how her own devastating pain, messy resilience, and deviant compassion collide in the middle of passion and purpose, how cringe-worthy extra-ness makes room for healing and wisdom - and how relationships change everything.

Bio:

Delena is passionate about creating relationships and systems we don’t have to heal from. She loves the messy space between vulnerability, connection, and belonging and started Deviant Compassion in 2015 to improve the way organizations take care of people and make sure helping didn't hurt. Delena is a Ravenclaw, Enneagram 2, and recovering ENFP. She holds a BA in Human Development from WSU Vancouver, has 6 grown kidults and 3 lazy, spoiled cats who strongly prefer her husband, Zeed. Delena is often found nerding out about brains, brands, and cheese, talking to strangers, or singing loudly to Adele.
